This commemorative tour includes 6 days of peak season shark diving, with great white shark diving at the famous Neptune Islands, an Australian sea lion dive or two, plus unique anniversary extras led personally by Andrew Fox.  We will also cruise - by famous historical shark diving locations. After the tour Rodney Fox himself will also be looking forward to greeting all guests back in Adelaide on a special night at the Rodney Fox & Mark Tozer’s Museum & Research Centre.

The Itinerary

Day 1 Dec. 5th – Welcome Aboard in Port Lincoln Harbour.

Meet at the Marina Hotel, Port Lincoln, at 3:00 PM for
check-in and boarding. After settling into cabins, enjoy a welcome from Andrew
Fox, a safety briefing, and the first celebratory 60th Anniversary gathering.
We then depart for viewing Dangerous Reef, and the picturesque islands of
Thorny passage, onto the evening’s anchorage at historic Memory Cove, ready for
the next day’s adventures.

Day 2 – Sea Lions and First Glimpses of the Neptunes

Wake up to the stunning Thorny Passage and Hopkins Island. Here we snorkel/dive
with playful Australian sea lions in their sheltered shallow bay. Afterwards,
we set course for the offshore Neptune Islands—our shark-diving base for the next few
days. Evening: relaxed dinner, stories from Andrew Fox, and stargazing on deck.

Days 3, 4, 5  & 6 – Great White Shark Diving at the Neptune Islands

The highlight of the expedition— Surface cage
dives get everyone close encounters, while certified SCUBA divers can descend
into the ocean floor cage for an unforgettable perspective. Also
enjoy tender boat trips to see long-nosed fur seals and (weather permitting) a
special Neptune Island walking tour.

At night, anniversary presentations from Andrew Fox including original classic documentaries from the 60’s and rare
historic images and footage of our 60 year History.Shark research and photography presentations, delicious meals, South Australian wine, and time to unwind under the stars.

Day 6 – Final Shark Encounters & Celebration Return

Enjoy one last day of shark diving and photography. By now your shark ID skills
will be finely tuned! After a farewell lunch, we begin the journey back to Port
Lincoln, often joined by pods of dolphins along the bow. Celebrate with a final
glass of South Australian wine on the bow before arriving back to home port in
Port Lincoln. 

Day 7 Dec 12th   Disembark in Port Lincoln prior to 9:00 AM 

Disembark at any time before 9 AM with Continental breakfast supplied. Bus transfers are
offered to Port Lincoln Hotel.  

Then later that night for any guests flying out and staying in Adelaide, a special (optional) night is offered at the
Rodney Fox & Mark Tozer’s Museum & Research Centre in Adelaide, hosted by Rodney Fox and Business partner and museum owner and curator Mark Tozer.  

Mark has assembled a very special collection of oceanic wonders and memorabilia including prominent historical artefact's from our early expeditions.
