The Itinerary

Day 1: July 7th – Welcome Aboard in Port Lincoln Harbour
We collect passengers at either the Port Lincoln Hotel, Tasman Hotel, or the Marina Hotel from 5:30 PM for check-in and boarding. After settling into cabins, enjoy a welcome from Mark Tozer and a safety briefing from the crew. We then depart to the night’s sheltered anchorage at historic Memory Cove, ready for the next day’s adventures.

Day 2 – Morning Sea Lions at Hopkins Island and Arrival at the Neptune Islands
Wake up to a stunning Thorny Passage sunrise and relocate to nearby Hopkins Island. Here, we snorkel/dive with playful Australian sea lions in their sheltered shallow bay. Afterwards, we set course for the offshore Neptune Islands—our shark-diving base for the next few days. Evening: relaxed dinner, stories from Andrew Fox, and stargazing on deck.

Days 3, 4, 5 – Great White Shark Diving at the Neptune Islands
Surface cage dives provide close encounters for everyone, while certified SCUBA divers can descend into the ocean-floor cage for an unforgettable perspective. Also, enjoy tender boat trips to see long-nosed fur seals and (weather permitting) a special Neptune Island walking tour.

Enjoy hands-on time with authentic gear from Mark Tozer’s personal archive, including a Jack Browne full-face mask and an original Voit twin-hose regulator. At night, enjoy special tribute presentations from Mark Tozer, including screenings of original classic episodes from Sea Hunt. There will also be shark research and photography presentations, delicious meals, South Australian wine, and time to unwind under the unparalleled stars of the remote Southern Ocean.

Evening of July 12th – Return to Port

Day 6: July 13th – Disembark in Port Lincoln
